The Geospatial Centroid internship program is at the core of our operation. Interns at the Centroid are involved with daily operations of the office–which may include providing Geospatial Help Desk services or organizing events–but are usually assigned to specific projects as well. Projects range from on-campus support for faculty research to off-campus partner internships with external agencies. Interns generally start off unpaid, but may evolve into paying positions when funded projects are secured. Interns receive invaluable technical and workplace skills in a collaborative and stimulating environment.

Spring 2017 Centroid Interns

Interested students are encouraged to apply and new interns typically are accepted at the beginning of each semester. While internships are usually fairly general in nature, we always have a need for specific skills and interests including: Social Media/Marketing, Help Desk Support, and Event Planning.
