CSU Morgan Library provides office space, administrative, and financial support to the Centroid. As the information hub for the entire campus, the Library is an appropriate place to house the Centroid enabling us to provide services to the entire campus community. Through the CSU Morgan Library, there is a GIS Resource Data Guide that is organized by geographic region and by agency with an emphasis on Colorado and federal government sites. These websites provide GIS data downloads, often free of charge.

ColoradoView is part of the U.S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) nationwide program, AmericaView, which focuses on providing easy, low-cost access to remotely-sensed data and promoting remote sensing education, research, and applications. Each year, ColoradoView supports internships for students to utilize remote-sensing resources to address pressing issues in Colorado.

Colorado Natural Heritage Program provides information on the status and location of Colorado’s rarest and most threatened species and plant communities. CNHP provides updates and technical management for the Colorado Ownership, Management and Protection (COMaP) project and dataset.

Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) at Colorado State University is a team of environmental professionals experienced in the conservation and sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense lands.

NASA DEVELOP is a national program that addresses environmental and public policy issues through interdisciplinary research projects that apply the lens of NASA Earth observations to community concerns around the globe.
