March 8, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Cameron Peak Fire in 2020 was Colorado’s largest fire in history, at over 208,000 acres, and burned for months in the hills west of Fort Collins.

Learn how GIS was used during the fire to predict and map potential spread, prioritize resources, and inform the public.

Presented by Boyd Lebeda, Fire Behavior Analyst for the Rocky Mountain Incident Command Team.
