How is NASA observing the Earth?
Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 5th, from 12 – 1 pm for Observing Forests from Space: NASA’s Interests and Capabilities in Earth Observation and Forest Inventory
Learn about NASA’s Earth observation programs such as GEDI (Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation Lidar) which is collecting LiDAR data for whole planet from space, and others. These datasets are being used for forest inventory, studying carbon cycling, topography, and a host of other ecological applications.
