GIS Friends and Colleagues are invited to participate in the 9th Annual GIS in Higher Education Summit, on Thursday, March 30, 2017, hosted by the Geospatial Centroid at Colorado State University.
The Summit brings together GIS-oriented faculty, instructors, and students from across Colorado (and beyond) to share best practices, discuss common challenges, and strengthen our network of colleagues. It is also an opportunity to propose any action items that could be addressed or prioritized as a group.
This year we are honored to have as our lunchtime keynote speaker Dr. Lee Schwartz. As Geographer of the United States, Dr. Schwartz holds the position of the Director of the Office of The Geographer and Global Issues in the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research.
